DGTLab
DGTLab is a space that values education, the sharing of information and knowledge, and community involvement around technologies related to the construction industry, built heritage, and entrepreneurship. We believe that our contribution to the industry is not limited to providing the services needed to move projects forward, but also includes actively contributing to our communities by passing knowledge on to future generations and taking concrete action to protect our built heritage.
Implication dans les écoles
Maintaining active ties with schools and the next generation of designers, entrepreneurs, technologists, engineers, and architects is a priority for us. We are always excited to meet students and share our knowledge as well as our perspective on the industry, and also to listen to their ideas, questions, and interests.
Our involvement varies from one program to another: presentations on technologies in the construction industry, on entrepreneurship in that same field, workshops, and through scholarships.

Involvement in the community
One of our major missions is the digital preservation of built heritage. Many challenges arise when it comes to protecting our heritage buildings. Even if renovating a building can sometimes take a long time, or if its preservation proves impossible and it risks deteriorating to the point where it can no longer be saved, we get involved as much as possible to digitize these buildings so they remain part of our collective memory, regardless of their fate.

We believe it is essential to speak up for the values that define us, such as innovation, education, and the role of women in the construction and entrepreneurship sectors. We are always delighted to connect with our industry peers, share our knowledge while learning from others, and help amplify a unifying voice.

Calina Olari, co-founder of DGTL, took part in an interview with Radio-Canada about technologies in the construction sector, the digital preservation of built heritage, and the place of women in the construction and technology industries.
